Since the last post things have gotten much better around the old homestead. Both kids got better, mom and dad (or grandma and grandpa) came for a visit, and Modern Family has delivered. Not gonna lie, two kids is no joke. I look at people who have more than two and just get a little cross eyed. My life has started to make more sense and I am getting the hang of this thing that is called "motherhood" a little better.
I now have a two year old! Cru had his second birthday a couple days ago and we celebrated with balloons, crete paper, Mickey Mouse pancake, nugget lunch, a 4 hour nap, pizza and bread sticks, orange pop, cake, presents, and a oooie (movie). I think he had a right good time and enjoyed opening his presents. Thank you to grandma and grandpa, baba and sachon Jake for sending the presents. He is such a fun and funny kid and I really love him and the stage he is in. He can somewhat communicate to me and besides the daily tantrums, is such a good boy.
I came into his room when he woke up in the morning with the Elmo balloon and his eyes were as big as he could get them....and that is big.
He was a fan of the candle.
We also decided to take a family adventure to the Ostrich Festival that takes place here in Chandler. We are lucky because it is at a huge park that is about a mile away from our house. It is a full on carnival with carnies, fair food, dogs that jump into water competitions, petting zoo, bands from the 70's that put on fair concerts, and of course--ostrich races. We loaded the kids up in my bike trailer and ventured out into the madness.

What's the Ostrich Festival without ostriches? And yes they had ostrich burgers there and no I did not eat one. However a corn dog, curly fries, and strawberry lemonade cost $19.00.
They are pretty dang cute together. Zoey is such a good girl (as long as mom is around) and she had a wonderful time!
Cru was trying to get on the sling shot ride that shoots you 200 feet in the air. He wasn't tall enough but had a good time grooving to the music that they had playing there.
Lil miss soaking up the shade. It was super fun and I am so glad we decided to risk it and go.

You make so me good looking littles!! They are both so perfect! I can't believe Cru is already 2...it seems like just yesterday that we were snuggling him as a newborn. You are such a great Mom!
I loved it!! Way to go!! I wish there were carnies a mile from my house...but we just got lots of live stock! I wish we could hang out cause I miss ya real bad. Love you!!!
