I have enjoyed being pregnant. I got my mom's genes where she said and I quote "I could've had babies for the whole neighborhood!" I've had it relatively easy and I am grateful for that so thanks mom! I have been out of work now for a bit and I am going a little stir crazy. I have had things to do don't get me wrong but I have missed that schedule that my organizational side has been begging for. I am going to get to work from home doing research for a contractor. He was suppose to be real busy in January but the company he works for had things pushed back until....you guessed it...April (when I will have a new squirming chow in my arms). So I was anticipating being pretty busy up until the big day but alas, things aren't going to get busy for a little bit. It's all good don't get me wrong but when those 'know it all strangers' are telling me to enjoy my time I want to poke them in the eye. I am truly looking forward to sleepless nights, poopy pants, nap time for me during the day, and what the crap do I do feelings. It may sound weird but so does the word "apricot". Say it ten or more times slowly and you'll know what I mean.
In other news, Zac is pretty bummed lately. Well, only when he turns on Sports Center. The football season is mostly over and now we are stuck watching NBA and hockey highlights and he gets so sad about it. Other than the Sports Center dilemma, he is a really happy guy and is pumped to be a dad. He keeps telling the baby...or my stomach...to bat left golf right and throw left. I am so excited for Easter this year for one reason-Carmel Cadbury Eggs. I have been dreaming about them lately. One time in college, Zac and I were going to catch the shuttle together and I was eating my afternoon Carmel Cadbury Egg and I saw Zac eye balling it. I knew what his plan was (he isn't a sweets fan so I knew his plan was to slap it out of my hands). Just as he got that half smile on his face, I jerked the egg away from him and shoved the rest of it into my mouth-which was about 3/4ths of it. Good thing I have a big mouth. He swiped for it but missed as I jammed it into my face. He has vowed to someday slap a Carmel Cadbury Egg out of my hands since that day and I have thwarted him every year. He probably has forgotten that but now that I blogged about it, he will be after me again this year. I shall be ready...he has to be careful though because now I may have a child in my arms. YES!!!!
